Crown Partners, a provider of Enterprise Information Management (EIM) platform solutions, has announced the beta release of RedCarpet, a specialised content migration software device.
According to the company, RedCarpet manages the move from EMC Documentum eRoom to EMC Documentum CenterStage.
CenterStage is the newest web-based collaborative workspace solution from EMC Corporation, a new client interface and a long-term strategic upgrade path for eRoom customers which has improved support for Web 2.0 tools.

RedCarpet will be powered by Crown's Buldoser technology, an extract, transform and load (ETL) product for Documentum, synchronisation of each CenterStage release will be performed until all eRoom features are accommodated. eRoom customers who are paying for maintenance support will receive RedCarpet free of charge.
