TELECOMWORLDWIRE-18 November 2008-FalconStor Software Inc's FalconStor CDP chosen by CyberLink Corp for its Microsoft Exchange servers(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

FalconStor Software Inc (NASDAQ: FALC), a provider of 'TOTALLY Open' data protection solutions, disclosed on 17 November that FalconStor Continuous Data Protector (CDP) has been deployed by CyberLink Corp, a company that enables digital multimedia on PCs and CEs.

CyberLink will use FalconStor CDP to provide business continuity and disaster recovery of its Microsoft Exchange servers.

The open architecture of FalconStor CDP facilitated integration into CyberLink's existing IT environment, without requiring any changes, FalconStor claims. FalconStor CDP provides CyberLink with system recovery without impacting application server performance and recovers data in minutes. CDP mirror disks are bootable; therefore physical-to-virtual recovery is accomplished by using a single, virtual server to recover multiple system and application servers.

No financial terms were disclosed.
