CSG Systems (NASDAQ: CSGS), a company that provides customer interaction management and billing solutions, revealed yesterday (19 November) that it has established a partnership with ComSonics, a provider of GPS and cable management solutions.
CSG's Workforce Express application has been combined with ComSonics' GENACIS hardware to provide a fixed-vehicle GPS solution for communications service providers. The solution helps in managing and optimising a mobile fleet of technicians by mapping the vehicle location and integrating it with customer order information.

The GENACIS device is fully automated and it continuously collects and stores data via the onboard memory, thereby preventing data loss and maintaining data integrity when the wireless connection is intermittently lost.
The CSG and ComSonics technologies have been fully integrated and the solution is available now. No pricing details were announced.
