Hikvision partners with Milestone Systems in China

Hikvision Digital Technology Co Ltd, a supplier of digital video surveillance products with headquarters in China, has established a partnership with Milestone Systems, a developer of open platform IP video management software.

The company said that the agreement was signed on 21 October in China in the presence of the Danish Prime Minster, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who was in Shanghai to advance cooperation between China and Denmark in business and climate-related issues.

Hikvision will market Milestone's XProtect IP video management platform, which is compatible with Hikvision's IP surveillance products, in China initially, with a view to expanding into international markets.

Milestone will co-exhibit with Hikvision at the Beijing Security show in the beginning of December.
