PECO II Inc (Nasdaq:PIII), a provider of communications industry power systems and services, has reported the launch of its MPS10 Micro Power System for addressing applications at the network edge.
The MPS10 Micro Power System can supply up to 18 Amps of current at 48Vdc in a 1RU shelf and includes a system controller providing standard DC power system management as well as battery management capabilities.

The company plans to introduce the system at its exhibit (booth No.1037) at the 2008 OSP Expo, which is held in Baltimore between 22 and 23 October. The MPS10 Micro Power System is now available for order, although pricing details were not announced.
