TELECOMWORLDWIRE-23 October 2008-Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group selects content management solutions from Siteworx and SDL Tridion(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Siteworx Inc, a web design and application development firm, and SDL Tridion, a provider of web content management (WCM), announced on Wednesday (22 October) the implementation of SDL Tridion R5 for Hong Kong-based hotel operator Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group's website.

As part of its interactive marketing strategy, the hotel operator worked with Siteworx and SDL Tridion to restructure and re-launch its global website - http://www.mandarinoriental.com - enabling it to expand to new locations rapidly, while protecting the integrity of its global brand.

The partnership between the two companies delivers a WCM system that is centrally managed and is designed to deliver content across multiple channels in multiple languages. SDL Tridion R5 allows Mandarin Oriental to deliver a consistent brand 'look and feel,' while providing each of its 40 hotel properties with tools that customise content to accommodate local languages, customs and sales promotions.

The solution also helps simplify and streamline the process of creating multilingual sites by providing translation services, increasing efficiency and helping to ensure accuracy of information.

No financial details were disclosed.
