Telecomworldwire, Oct 24, 2008

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-24 October 2008-Pegasystems introduces new Federated Business Frameworks for SmartBPM Suite(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Pegasystems Inc (Nasdaq:PEGA), a provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software, announced on 23 October the release of new Federated Business Frameworks for its SmartBPM Suite.

The company said that the new frameworks deliver central management view and unified work portal for work done through BPM systems distributed across different operational units. By building an integrated approach to work and process across different business operations, they enable a customer-first capability for the enterprise and reduce non-value added costs.

The new frameworks reportedly include: Integrated Work Manager to create a dynamic integrated work list; Business Information Exchange, which pulls information from multiple SmartBPM applications into an organisation's business intelligence systems; Virtual Enterprise Repository, providing a central repository where multiple SmartBPM applications deposit, access and re-use business procedures, policies and services; as well as Autonomic Event Services, introducing support for multi-cluster deployment that utilises the system to diagnose and optimise performance.

No pricing details were disclosed.
