Neonode (Nasdaq: NEON), a mobile communication company that develops touch screen technologies and designs mobile handsets based in Sweden, announced on Thursday (2 October) that MEP ILETISIM ve Dis Tic. A.S, the company's distributor based in Istanbulin Turkey, has placed a second order for the Neonode N2 multimedia touch screen phone.
The company said that nationwide sales of the Neonode N2 has been initiated in Turkey and the touch screen phone is being rolled-out to selected outlets across the country.

MEP, the appointed distributor to Turkcell, an operator in Turkey, had placed the initial order for the Neonode N2 Black earlier this year. It has now placed a second order for the multimedia touch screen phone, adding the colours Lime (green), Azure (blue) and Rubine (red) to its portfolio.
MEP maintains over 3000 active outlets throughout Turkey.
Neonode said that the Neonode N2 is one of the smallest touch screen handsets currently available on the market and is designed to be used by one hand, allowing the user quick and easy access to all content. Financial details of the order were not available.
