TELECOMWORLDWIRE-23 September 2008-Serco Group plc signs 25,000 seat license for ManageSoft's ECM(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

ManageSoft, a provider of asset management software, announced on 22 September that Serco Group plc, an international service company, has chosen ManageSoft's Enterprise Compliance Manager to enable the company to centralise enterprise-wide software procurement, better utilise existing software assets and reduce the risk of vendor license non-compliance.

Secro has licensed the ECM software for 25,000 seats. The company has also purchased 25,000 licenses for ManageSoft's Software Deployment Manager and Patch Manager to enable its IT teams to install software and operating systems in any local or remote office site, even with very limited IT support. Patch Manager will automatically alert Serco's IT staff to new patches and streamline the process of deploying the patches across the company.

No financial details of the licence agreements were disclosed.
