Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris:ALU) (NYSE:ALU), a provider of network solutions, announced 29 September that it has signed a frame agreement with Telefonica, a telecomms operator, to supply its home network management solution to Telefonica, with deliveries already underway in the Czech Republic, Argentina, Peru and Spain.

The company will supply its 5580 Home Network Manager (HNM) to enable Telefonica to deliver triple-play services while also offering remote support options to reduce the number of on-site interventions. The 5580 HNM is based on the TR-069 management interface as defined by the DSL Forum for multi-vendor management of home devices.
No financial details of the agreement were disclosed.
