cVidya Networks, a provider of telecomms data integrity and revenue assurance products, announced on Tuesday (28 April) that MTN's South African operating unit, a wireless carrier in South Africa, has selected the company with HP South Africa as system integrator to provide a full Revenue Assurance solution.
According to the company, the agreement follows a successful RFP evaluation and a technical proof of concept, which demonstrated the technical and deployment capabilities of cVidya's Revenue Assurance products.

The deployment will cover the entire range of cVidya's MoneyMap modules, including: MoneyMap / Configuration Reconciliation, MoneyMap / Usage Reconciliation, MoneyMap / Rating and Billing and reconciliation and KPIMap solution.
MoneyMap Revenue Assurance Solution helps operators to correlate and consolidate information from all network, operations and business systems. It detects problem areas which impacts profitability as a result of revenue leakage, data inconsistencies or resources that are not being used efficiently. When the solution identifies the areas of revenue leakage and resource inefficiency, it provides the user with to correct and manage the problems to increase profits.
