Direct Insite Corp (OTCBB:DIRI.OB), a provider of accounts payable and accounts receivable automation services, declared yesterday (2 February) that a new multi-year contract has been signed by the company with Siemens, to allow supplier electronic invoice processing.A The supplier on-boarding and enablement services of Direct Insite, 100% compliant and routed for efficient approval and settlement, will promote awareness and provide training to Siemens' suppliers, invoicing its 26 operating companies, to reduce manual paper processes. Through web form entry, copying a purchase order into an electronic invoice or uploading invoice data from within a spreadsheet, submission of electronic invoices by suppliers can be done directly from their billing system, through EDI and XML industry standard formats, as well. A Siemens AG is an electronics and electrical engineering company, operating in the industry, energy and healthcare sectors. Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
