Location Based Technologies Inc (LBT) (OTCBB:LBAS), a provider of personal, pet and asset location devices, announced on Monday (2 March) that it has signed its first Professional Service Agreement for USD1.2m with LoadRack.com LLC, a provider of truck and load matching, for customisation of software and hardware.

Desiree Mejia, COO of LBT, said that by partnering with LoadRack, the company will establish a cornerstone distribution relationship within the trucking and freight monitoring industry, while allowing LBT to stay focused on its primary market of protecting family, pets and personal belongings.

LBT said it will be able to leverage a vast vertical market and channel partner by applying its PocketFinder Network with a hardware application to revolutionise the trucking industry.

With this partnership with LoadRack, the company anticipates sales to exceed USD12.5m during the first twelve months from launch.
