GPU declares dividend

PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 1, 1994--The board of directors of General Public Utilities Corp. (NYSE:GPU) today declared a regular quarterly common stock dividend of 45 cents per share, payable Feb. 22, 1995 to shareholders of record Jan. 27, 1995.
GPU is a registered electric utility holding company. Its three operating subsidiaries -- Jersey Central Power and Light Co., Pennsylvania Electric Co., and Metropolitan Edison Co. -- provide electric service to more than 1.9 million customers in a service territory encompassing about half the land area of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
