Digital Sound forms strategic alliance with Siemens for worldwide business development

CARPINTERIA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 1994--Digital Sound Corp. (NASDAQ/NM:DGSD), a leader in high-capacity network-based message processing systems, Monday announced the formation of a strategic alliance with Siemens AG, Public Communication Networks Group for global business development.

Specifically, the two companies will collaborate on the marketing and sale of enhanced messaging and response services to public network providers worldwide, such as PTTs (Post Telephone and Telegraph).

Products that will be sold to wireline and wireless carriers under this agreement include equipment and applications for a wide range of voice messaging and voice processing services. Existing telephone networks, as well as emerging Advanced Intelligent Networks, can take advantage of these services.
