Jefferson Smurfit Corp. elects G. Thompson Hutton to board of directors

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 28, 1994--G. Thompson Hutton has been elected a director of Jefferson Smurfit Corporation (JSC).
Hutton is president and chief executive officer of Risk Management Solutions, Inc. (RMS), an information services company based in Menlo Park, CA. RMS is a leading provider of software and advisory services to insurers, reinsurers and other financial institutions. The company has two offices in the U.S. and one in Asia.
Previously, he was a consultant at McKinsey and Company, serving clients in transportation, forest products and insurance. Prior to that he was vice president of Marine Construction and Design Co.
He received a B.A. degree in economics and an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA; and an MBA from Harvard Business School, Cambridge, MA.
Jefferson Smurfit Corporation, headquartered in St. Louis, MO. is one of America's most broadly based paper, paperboard and packaging companies.
