ZipZapMap! receives honors award from Parents' Choice; Prestigious award given to the best children's products

NORTH VANCOUVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 5, 1994--Promark Software's ZipZapMap! USA, which is marketed by the National Geographic Society has won a 1994 Honors Award from Parents' Choice.

The annual Parents' Choice Awards identifies for parents the year's best in all fields of children's media and all material concerning the child's out-of-school life.

The Parents' Choice organization, a Newton, Mass.-based non-profit group, has been dedicated to providing consumers with reviews of children's books, videos, toys, audio, television, magazines and computer software since 1978.

Among the organization's board of directors are noted people such as actress Julie Andrews, former First Lady Barbara Bush and actor Edward James Olmos.
