Online travel information service launched

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 6, 1994--traveLOGIX Inc., a travel technology and software development company, has launched its subscription based online travel information service called "traveLOGIX Online."

The product, now in use with a number of selected subscribers, will be commercially released throughout the United States in January 1995. A release in Europe is slated for March of 1995.

traveLOGIX Online will deliver realtime airline schedule, availability and price information to PC and modem equipped travelers with simple user friendly software via a toll free telephone number on a monthly subscription basis.

A unique feature of the traveLOGIX Online subscription service is that all flight availability and pricing information is obtained from an airline computer reservation service (CRS). The service is simple to use. With simple graphical commands you can quickly and easily create and compare flight schedules and prices.

Additional features such as hotel and car reservations, electronic booking, mapping, destination information, frequent flyer tracking, corporate travel policy and expense reporting are slated to follow the initial release.
