Apple Signs Licensing Agreement with Reply Corporation; First Licensee for Cross-Platform Hardware and Software Technology

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 1994--Reply Corp. publicly announced the signing of a technology agreement with Apple Computer Inc. of Cupertino, Calif., on Oct. 19, 1994.

This agreement is the first of its kind, providing Reply with access to Apple's cross-platform technology. This technology, which allows DOS and Windows to run on Macintosh computers, opens new software possibilities to millions of Macintosh users in mixed environments. Reply is also licensed to modify the current technology to develop future enhancements to DOS compatibility products.

The first product developed under the Apple licensing agreement will be announced, available and on display in Apple's booth at COMDEX on Nov. 14, 1994.
