Commodore Cruise Line makes Enchanted Seas Dining Room "smoke free"

Business Wire, Nov 22, 1994

CORAL GABLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 1994--Effective Jan. 21, 1995, Commodore Cruise Line's Enchanted Seas Hamilton Dining Room will be a "smoke free" environment.

Jan. 21 is the first sailing date following two weeks in dry dock for the Enchanted Seas where she will have on-going refurbishment. Other public rooms on board will continue to have designated smoking and non-smoking areas.

"It's simple," said Bernard Chabot, president of Commodore Cruise Line, "our passengers asked and we responded. Not only will our passengers be pleased but so will our staff and crew who spend seven days a week in this environment."

The Enchanted Seas is currently celebrating 10 years of continuous service out of the Port of New Orleans. The ship sails every Saturday for Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Montego Bay on seven night cruises.

A long time favorite of frequent and new passengers, the rates for seven day cruises range from $665 to $1,025 per person, cruise only. Air is available from over 75 gateway cities.

New Year's Eve, this year on a Saturday, will be a true Mardi-Gras-style celebration for passengers who herald in the New Year aboard the Enchanted Seas. Special events and entertainment are planned all week long and cabins are still available.

For more information on Commodore Cruise Line and the Enchanted Seas, passengers should contact their travel agent.
