Cabletron Systems opens new office in China; Beijing office provides sales, support and customer training for multinational and local companies

BEIJING, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 3, 1994--Cabletron Systems, the worldwide modular hub market leader in the networking industry(a), expanded its growing market presence in the Pacific-Rim (PAC-RIM) countries by opening an office in Beijing, China recently.

The Beijing office is the fifth full-service office in Asia operated by the $600 million (US), the United States-based company.

The new office is located at Beijing New Century Hotel, Office Tower Block, 6 Southern Road, Beijing, China. Other Cabletron offices offering sales, support and customer training for multinationals and local companies in Asia are located in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Malaysia.
