Research Frontiers receives $54,396 from warrant exercises

WOODBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 1994--Research Frontiers Inc. announced today that it has received $54,396 from warrant exercises by two of its directors, Robert L. Saxe, president, and Robert I. Thompson, executive vice president, as well as by a member of Thompson's family.
Since the company went public in July of 1986, insiders and members of their family have purchased over $1.4 million worth of common stock from the company, with the company receiving approximately $250,000 from insiders in 1994 alone.
Research Frontiers is the technological leader in the development and licensing of suspended particle device (SPD) light valves -- electrically operated light control devices using proprietary particle suspensions. These devices, where light transmission is electrically controllable instantly either automatically or by the user, can be used in smart windows, variable light transmission eyewear and goggles, self-dimmable automotive sunroofs, sun visors and rear-view mirrors, and flat panel information displays for use in computers, television, telephones and other electronic instruments. The company currently has seven agreements in effect covering smart windows, eyewear, automotive mirrors and sun visors, and displays, with major international corporations.
