Bruce named to Full Service Network staff

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11, 1995--Susan Bruce has been named the director of Interactive Education and Health Programming for Time Warner Cable's Full Service Network.

Bruce will oversee the development and implementation of health and educational programming on the Full Service Network.

Bruce will also serve as the Full Service Network's liaison to all content providers, and research and evaluate a variety of health and educational venue applications. She will report to Harold "Hal" Wolf, vice-president - Content, for Time Warner's Full Service Network.

Bruce was president of Bruce Media Connections, an Atlanta-based consulting firm specializing in the design, development, and marketing of corporate and educational multimedia programs on an international level. Her firm also consulted on developing video on-demand, interactive television trials.

Bruce worked for 10 years at IBM, where she specialized in multimedia market development for Europe and South America. In those roles, she worked with other countries on multimedia technology, market solutions and programs, as well as building working alliances with vendors and distribution.

She has a master's degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida and is fluent in several languages.

Time Warner Cable's Full Service Network is a digital, interactive television network that provides subscribers on-demand access to a variety of entertainment and informational services.

Time Warner Cable is the nation's second largest cable television operator, currently serving nine million customers in 34 states. After the closing later this year of several recently announced cable acquisitions, the company will serve approximately 11.5 million customers. It is a unit of Time Warner Entertainment Co. L.P.
