Charles Less joins Ferro as marketing vice president

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 18, 1995--Ferro Corporation (NYSE-FOE) today announced that Charles M. Less has joined the Company as Vice President, Marketing.

In making the announcement, Albert C. Bersticker, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "Chuck Less is well qualified for this position and brings more than twenty years of international and domestic experience in marketing polymers, resins and additives in the coatings industry. These experiences are very closely aligned with the major businesses and the significant international presence of Ferro. In this position, Chuck will be responsible for directing Ferro's marketing activities and programs worldwide."

Prior to joining Ferro, Less held increasingly responsible marketing and management positions with Rohm and Haas, both in the United States and Europe. In his new position, Less will report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer.

Less holds a bachelor degree in chemistry from the University of Denver, where he pursued graduate-level studies. He also completed a two-year executive management program at the Wharton School of Business.
