Business Wire, April 21, 1995

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- April 21, 1995 -- Keane, Inc. (AMEX:KEA) announced today the acquisition of Community Health Computing, Inc.'s ("CHC") Dallas-based Hospital Information System Division, formerly known as INFOSTAT. CHC's Dallas operation is a provider of UNIX-based clinical and financial information systems for acute-care hospitals and medical centers. The division has approximately 50 hospital clients and 600 long-term care facilities, located throughout the United States.

The acquisition was approved by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas in which CHC and its parent company filed on December 7, 1994 under Chapter 11 of the Federal Bankruptcy Code.

"Although it has taken longer than we anticipated, we are delighted to welcome CHC's hospitals as Keane clients," stated Keane Healthcare Services Division Vice President and General Manager Ray Paris. "We plan to continue to support the acquired hospital information systems we have purchased out of CHC's support facility in Dallas. However, Keane will not be actively marketing the acquired systems to new clients. The addition of CHC's customers brings the total number of Keane clients to approximately 240 hospitals."
