WEST POINT, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 25, 1995--WestPoint Stevens Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:WPSN) today announced that Magten Asset Management Corp. sold all 2,913,352 shares of its holdings in WestPoint Stevens Inc.
The Robinson-Humphrey Company, Inc. acted as principal in facilitating this transaction.
WestPoint Stevens is the nation's leading manufacturer and marketer of bed and bath textile products and accessories, and is also, through its Alamac subsidiary, a leading domestic manufacturer of circular knit sportswear fabrics.
