The InterRamp Affinity Program, announced in January '95, has been enthusiastically received by the academic community. The Affinity program offers a myriad of benefits, as well as, a revenue stream back to the participating institutions. Universities use InterRamp to keep in touch through lines of communication that extend to the Internet community and beyond. Institutions can send alumni full multi media messages using video, audio, text and graphics. With these current real-time communication tools, alumni receive news as it happens.

"PSINet knew our Affinity Program would do great things. We began as an Internet provider for the academic community and have kept their needs in mind." States Steve Schoffstall, Director of Sales and Marketing for PSINet. "We saw the demand for Institutions to stay in touch with their alumni and the demand for graduates to stay on the Internet. InterRamp offers live Internet access to a new generation of graduates and allows users to support their alma mater. PSINet welcomes the opportunity to pay back the institutions that have done so much for us all!"

The InterRamp Affinity service offers a simple, easy to use, pre-configured solution that gives users full access to the Internet. InterRamp delivers a powerful yet inexpensive way for individuals to access the global Internet. PSINet has established local V.32bis, V.34bis, and ISDN dial-up access for InterRamp in over 100 cities. InterRamp will be available in 150 cities by July 1, 1995 and over 200 cities by the end of 1995.

The InterRamp Affinity program creates a revenue stream back to the University. The amount of the royalty is determined by the number of InterRamp Affinity accounts established and the status of the organization's Internet connection. Institutions receive a royalty on their end user's monthly fees.

PSINet is the leading provider of Internet access and integration services. Internet access options range to modem dialup and ISDN for telecommuters and small office LANs to dedicated high-speed circuits for corporate connectivity.
