BellSouth Purchases Additional $1.4 Million in Datastar Products from Apertus Technologies

EDEN PRAIRE, MN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 1995--Apertus Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ: APTS) today announced that BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc., a leading telecommunications company, has purchased an additional $1.4 million of Datastar/DataCenter Hub network integration products.

BellSouth is using the Datastar/DataCenter Hub to provide users on its rapidly growing TCP/IP network with guaranteed access to its IBM host resources. This most recent purchase increases the total sessions licensed from Apertus to 54,000 across twenty Datastar/DataCenter Hub gateways located in six data centers.
