Business Wire, April 5, 1995
WASHINGTON, D.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 1995--HUBLink, Inc. and MicroScript Corporation announced today at the HealthInfo Technology Solutions Conference that they have entered into an agreement under which HUBLink will remarket MicroScript WorkStation and offer it as an extension of The Integrator, HUBLink's integration hub product.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
HUBLink, Inc. is an acknowledged leader in the fast growing healthcare interface engine market. The Integrator allows institutions to connect/interface their disparate systems. Additionally, it enables users to normalize data from different systems using their own message formats and then route the uniform objects employing conditional logic and a subscription methodology. HUBLink's Uniform Healthcare Data Model (UHDM) is unique in the industry in providing this capability.
MicroScript WorkStation, a PC-based interface scripting language, is used by more than 485 hospitals and is the industry's leading toolset for 100% non-invasive access and delivery of data. MicroScript WorkStation is used extensively to capture data from screens, printers and files and to convert and automate the transfer of data to and from systems that do not supply message-level access to data.
Under the agreement, HUBLink will offer MicroScript WorkStation to its clients through its direct sales and its marketing partners.
"MicroScript WorkStation is the de facto, industry standard for non-invasive, screen-level and print level access to systems. HUBLink will offer this unique technology to our customers when message-level interfaces are not available," stated Bruce Grambley, HUBLink's Chief Operating Officer.
"This exciting new partnership with a leading integration hub supplier like HUBLink is significant in many respects," stated John Moriarty, MicroScript Corporation's president and CEO. "First and foremost, it brings to HUBLink's customers the widest possible range of interface technology in a single, powerful package."
