Underwriters Exercise Option For 330,000 Shares Of Cybex Common Stock

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 1995--CYBEX Computer Products Corporation (Nasdaq/NM:CBXC) today announced the underwriters have exercised their over-allotment option to purchase 330,000 shares of Cybex's Common Stock at $17.00 per share. The option was granted in connection with the Company's initial public stock offering, which commenced on July 28, 1995.
The net proceeds to the Company from the exercise of the over- allotment option were approximately $5.2 million, increasing to $33.1 million the total net proceeds from Cybex's initial public offering of 2,200,000 shares. Of the 2,200,000 shares offered, 1,766,725 shares were sold by the Company and 433,275 shares were sold by selling shareholders.
The proceeds of the offering will be used (i) to expand the Company's facilities in Huntsville, Alabama; (ii) to establish a sales, distribution and manufacturing facility in Europe; and (iii) for general corporate purposes, including research and development/sales and marketing activities.
Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. and J.C. Bradford & Co. acted as co-managers of the underwriting group.
Cybex provides connectivity solutions in support of PC, SUN and Macintosh computing platforms. The Company's principal products include KVM (keyboard/monitor/mouse) switching systems, peripheral extension and expansion products and phone activated power control systems.
