EPSON to offer Microsoft Windows 95 in all PC and notebook products; EPSON to provide Windows 95 in all ActionPC, ActionTower, and ActionNote computers; free upgrades available for limited time

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 1995--Delivering on its commitment to provide users with an optimized configuration of today's most desired features, EPSON announced that it will support Microsoft Windows 95 with all of its current and future notebook and PC products.

"Windows 95 allows users to take full advantage of EPSON's feature-rich systems, including advanced multimedia hardware capability, on-line communications, and Plug and Play."
EPSON ActionPC and ActionTower computers are specifically built according to Microsoft Corp.'s hardware specifications for Windows 95. They provide users a rich bundle of application, entertainment, education, and information-access software. EPSON's ActionNote portable computers offer an array of features, giving users the functionality and range of options they need to meet their mobile computing needs. PCMCIA slots are standard on all EPSON portables, providing additional value and performance to end users.
EPSON recently announced a "free Windows 95 upgrade" offer for customers purchasing EPSON PC products between July 1 and Oct. 1, 1995. The offer covers all ActionTower 7000 and 8000 Series desktop and ActionNote 600 and 800 Series Notebook computers. Under the upgrade offer, EPSON will provide eligible customers with a coupon to be completed and returned for a free copy of Windows 95 and customers pay only for shipping and handling.
