Cytopia Software ships new filters for Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 28, 1995--Cytopia Software Incorporated (CSI) ships new productivity plug-in filters for Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. CSI develops and markets plug-in software for Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, aimed at the high-end Photographic and Print publishing market. Cytopia's own lineup of Plug-ins include:

-- CSI Socket Set Volumes One and Two, Plug-ins for Adobe Illustrator. Version 1.0 for the Macintosh and Power Macintosh.

-- CSI PhotoLab, Photographic filters for Adobe Photoshop. Version 1.2 for the Macintosh and Power Macintosh.

CSI SOCKET SET VOLUMES ONE & TWO

CSI Socket Set Volume One contains 10 plug-ins for Adobe Illustrator grouped into three categories. The first and second categories are the Select and Adjust series. These feature a common interface to interactively view, select and adjust fill and stroke colors, stroke weights, text and placed objects in an Illustrator document. The third category is the Manager series that allows users to organize plug-ins and Illustrator startup files.

CSI Socket Set Volume Two contains eight plug-ins in two main categories. The first category is the Transform series, a common interface that allows users to interactively scale objects to exact dimensions, create mirror images, step and repeat multiple objects and convert pattern fills to editable paths. The second category is the Align series that allows users to align objects, specify exact distribution, align edges and align to guides.
