Philips Lighting promotes Crawford to Vice President of Strategic Marketing Organization

SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 28, 1995--Philips Lighting Company has promoted Edward Crawford to the position of Vice President of Strategic Marketing.

In this new position, he will be responsible for all centralized marketing activities for the company including product management, strategic planning, new product introductions, marketing research and advertising/creative services.

Crawford has worked with the Philips family since 1988, most recently as Director of Marketing for the Consumer Lighting Division. He also spent five years as Senior Marketing Manager for Norelco Consumer Products, a division of Philips Electronics North America Corp. Prior to Norelco, Crawford served as Marketing Manager at Nestle Foods Corp. for six years.

Crawford, who resides in Clinton, NJ with his wife and two daughters, received his MBA in Marketing/International Business from New York University's Graduate School of Business. He received his bachelor of science degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
