SCO announces new vice president of human resources

SANTA CRUZ, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 1995--The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc. (SCO) (NASDAQ:SCOC), today announced that Jack Moyer has been appointed Vice President, Human Resources, reporting directly to Alok Mohan, President and CEO. Moyer comes to SCO with 20 years experience in human resources management, with a background encompassing management development, recruitment, compensation and international human resources.
"I'm pleased to have Jack on board at SCO. His solid background will significantly lend to his role in driving our human resources programs. We look forward to the addition of Jack to SCO's senior executive management team," said Mohan.
Effective immediately, Moyer will replace Greg Dougherty, formerly Senior Vice President, Human Resources, who joined the company in 1988. After 6 years at SCO, Dougherty elected to pursue other interests. SCO wishes him well in his future endeavors. Moyer was most recently Vice President, Human Resources for Ore-Ida Foods, Inc. Prior to that he was Vice President, Human Resources at Maspar Computer Corporation, a privately held start-up in Sunnyvale, CA. Moyer's human resources management experience also includes positions at Businessland, Inc., National Micronetics, Inc., and National Semiconductor.
