C-Cube Names Sanjeev Renjen Vice President of Engineering for Decoding Products

MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 1995--C-Cube Microsystems Inc. (NASDAQ: CUBE), a leading developer of digital video compression technology, today announced that Sanjeev Renjen has been named vice president of engineering for decoding products.
Dr. Renjen will be responsible for all development efforts of integrated circuits for the digital video consumer products market.
Renjen comes to C-Cube Microsystems from Alliance semiconductor, where he served as vice president of system products since 1993. Before joining Alliance, Renjen founded Nimbus Technology in 1991, where he served as chief architect until Nimbus was acquired by Alliance in 1991.

Renjen received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India. In 1977, he earned his Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University South Carolina, Columbia. In 1982, he was awarded a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He is 40 years old.
