NISoft, LLC announces name change

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 4, 1995--NISoft, LLC today announced its company name has been changed from Network Intelligence Software, LLC to NISoft, LLC. NISoft's two LAN monitoring and reporting software products are Network Reporter and Analyzer Companion. The products each enable network administrators to manager their network performance more effectively by providing valuable statistical information from a single segment in a graphic report format.
According to Steve Liberman, president of NISoft, "This name change was initiated to avoid confusion with a similarly named company, Network Intelligence, Inc. We value our customers and want to avoid any possibility of inconvenience to both our customers and theirs."
NISoft was recently founded to develop and market software analysis tools designed to help network professionals manage network performance. NISoft's sister company, Frontline Test Equipment, was a pioneer in applying personal computers as a platform for data communications diagnostic tools.
