California Pizza Kitchen tagged ''busiest'' by Zagat Survey

Business Wire, Dec 4, 1995

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 4, 1995--California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), the national chain famous for its 27 varieties of wood-fired pizza, was recently voted as the busiest restaurant chain in Los Angeles/Southern California through a survey conducted by Zagat Survey for the Zagat's 1996 Los Angeles/Southern California Restaurant Survey.

Price and service were just two reasons why the chain was given this prestigious recognition.

``People can come to us and get great service and quality food at a reasonable price,'' said Sarah Goldsmith, spokesperson for California Pizza Kitchen. ``We're really excited that we've been recognized by Zagat Survey for these reasons,'' she added.

California Pizza Kitchen was founded in 1985 by former attorneys Rick Rosenfield and Larry Flax. There are currently 79 locations nationwide.
