Robertson Stephens initiates coverage of Longhorn Steaks with a BUY rating

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 6, 1995--Robertson Stephens & Co. research analyst Andy Barish initiated coverage today of Longhorn Steaks (LOHO) with a Buy rating.
Longhorn Steaks owns approximately 60 Texas-style roadhouse casual dining restaurants mostly in the southeast and midwest.
"We do not believe," said Barish, "the company's improving average weekly unit volumes, better new unit opening volumes and strong 'same-store' gains are fully reflected in the stock at current levels. We expect margin expansion, acceleration of new unit openings and the turn around of underperforming markets. This should lead toward above the trend line EPS of 40% and drive positive stock performance."
