State Street to begin New York Stock Exchange trading

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 1995 -- State Street Boston Corp. announced today that the company's common stock will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Feb. 14, 1995 under the symbol "STT." The common shares were previously traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol "STBK."

State Street has approximately 82 million shares of common stock outstanding.
