NCD Enters Software License Agreement With Major Telecommunications Provider

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 2, 1995--Network Computing Devices Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS: NCDI) has entered into an agreement with a major telecommunications provider to license various communication software products.
NCD will be paid minimum royalties of $15 million over the next several years subject to completion of the products and their acceptance by the telecommunications provider.
Founded in 1988, Network Computing Devices Inc. provides information-access solutions for client-server computing environments.
NCD is the leading worldwide supplier of X Window System terminals, with a broad family of color and monochrome units, and PC-X server software products which integrate MicroSoft Windows- and DOS-based PCs into X/UNIX networks. The company's Z-Code Division supplies a family of cross-platform electronic mail and messaging software for open-systems environments.
