Software Artistry, Inc. files initial public offering

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 2, 1995--Software Artistry, Inc. announced today that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of 1,825,000 shares of its Common Stock.

It is currently estimated that the initial offering price will be between $10 and $12 per share. The planned offering will consist of 1,350,000 newly issued shares sold by Software Artistry, Inc., and 475,000 shares sold by certain selling shareholders. The underwriting group for the proposed offering is being managed by Robertson, Stephens & Company and Cowen & Company.

Software Artistry, Inc. develops, markets and supports a family of internal and external customer support software products. The Company's primary product, Expert Advisor, is a complete problem management system that incorporates multiple diagnostic techniques to access a single solutions database to resolve customer problems.

A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective.
