Michael E. Porter, Professor at the Harvard Business School, Joins Parametric Technology Corporation's Board of Directors

WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- February 21, 1995 -- Parametric Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: PMTC) announced today that Michael E. Porter has been elected to the company's Board of Directors. He succeeds Donald W. Feddersen, general partner of Charles River Ventures, a venture capital firm. Feddersen had served on PTC's board since 1987.
Porter is the C. Roland Christensen Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School and a leading authority on competitive strategy. He is the author of 14 books and over 50 articles, and has served as a counselor on competitive strategy to both government and industry. He also serves on the boards of directors of Lotus Development Corporation and Alpha-Beta Technologies.
