Baan Company opens dual corporate headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif

MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 1995--Baan Company, a leader in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for manufacturing, construction and distribution industries, today opened its new corporate headquarters in Menlo Park.
The new office functions as a dual headquarters, complementing Baan's European corporate headquarters in Ede, The Netherlands.
"Establishing a second corporate head office in the U.S. is a fundamental part of Baan's international growth strategy," said David Cairns, Baan Company's chief financial officer and one of the company's three main board managing directors.

Cairns, Johnson and Doug Sallen, managing director of corporate marketing, will operate from the Menlo Park office. The new headquarters will consist of corporate operations, U.S. sales and marketing personnel and a product development team. Personnel in this office will coordinate product marketing and engineering and will work directly with Baan Company's research and development organization in Ede.
