Cott Enters Portugal

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--February 24, 1995--Cott Corp. (NNM: COTTF, TSE: BCB) announce today that is has begun shipments of soft drink to Pingo Doce, Cott's first customer in Portugal. The new brand, Pingo Doce Cola, will be available in both cans and P.E.T. package choices and features "The American taste at Portuguese prices".
Pingo Doce has 160 stores, and is the largest grocery retailer in Portugal, accounting for more than 50% of all grocery sales in that country.
