MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JAN. 13, 1995--TUNDRA ENVIRONMENTAL (Alberta Stock Exchange:TUN) Tundra Environmental Corporation Limited (Tundra) is pleased to announce that it has acquired 100 percent of the issued and outstanding shares of DeFeo, Wait & Pare, Inc. (DWP) and its subsidiary company DWA Environmental, Inc., (DWAE) of Raynham, Massachusetts in exchange for 470,329 common shares of Tundra which were valued at 75 cents per share, reflecting a total value of $352,767.
DWP is an environmental consultant company specializing in the areas of Solid Waste Handling and Disposal, Wastewater Treatment and Disposal, Water Supply, Environmental Assessments and Site Remediation, Hydrogeologic Studies, Land Use Planning and Land Survey. DWAE is a wholly owned subsidiary involved in the operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities in Massachusetts.
DWP and DWAE were subsequently acquired by and will be operated by Briggs Associates, Inc. (Briggs) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tundra. Briggs is also a provider of Environmental Consulting Services.
