Virgin Atlantic rings in the New Year with $99 fare to London from New York

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 2, 1995--Virgin Atlantic Airways is celebrating the New Year with a $99 one-way fare to London on any of Virgin's three daily flights from New York (JFK and Newark airports).
"The new year is always a time of reflection and promises, and we'd like to make one New Year's resolution easier for you," said Bill King, vice president of sales for Virgin Atlantic. "This year that promise to take a trip to London can become a reality with our $99 fare...and just in time for London's famous annual sales," he added.
Virgin Atlantic's New York to London seat sale will take place three days only: Jan. 3, 4 and 5, 1995.
The $99 one-way fare is valid on Tuesdays and Wednesdays while the fare for travel on Thursday through Monday is $119 each way. Travel must be commenced by April 6, 1995. Tickets must be purchased at the time of reservation and are non-refundable and non-changeable.
