ASA International Ltd. discontinues negotiations to acquire software company for legal systems business

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--January 24, 1995--ASA International Ltd. (NASDAQ:ASAA) today announced it has discontinued negotiations relating to its previously announced letter of intent to acquire a company that markets practice management software for law firms throughout North America. The target company was to have been combined with ASA's Legal Systems Group.
ASA International Ltd. (the "Company"), intends to continue evaluating and pursuing acquisitions, joint ventures or similar opportunities that it believes will complement or enhance its business. The company, headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts, develops, markets, implements, and supports vertical market business solutions throughout the USA and Canada.
