Timeline Inc. announces initial public offering

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 1995--Timeline Inc. today announced it consummated an initial public offering of 1 million units at $5 per unit.
The placement was made by an underwriting group led by Thomas James & Associates. Each unit consisted of one share of common stock and one warrant and were immediately detachable.
The common shares and warrants are quoted on the NASDAQ SmallCap Market under the symbols TMLN and TMLNW, respectively, and the Boston Stock Exchange under the symbols TML and TMLW, respectively. The company estimates it will receive $4.5 million in proceeds from the offering, after deducting underwriting discounts. Proceeds are expected to be used primarily for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
Timeline develops, markets and supports enterprise-wide financial reporting and management software. Its client/server application, Open General Ledger(TM) is built on Microsoft products and designed to selectively gather data from various software and hardware platforms and to make that data accessible from networked desktop personal computers. Timeline has been in business since 1977 and also provides a suite of fully integrated accounting modules based on Digital Equipment Corp.'s VAX mainframes and minicomputers.
