Stephen R. Cohen To Retire As Chairman Of Tpi Enterprises, Inc

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 27, 1995--TPI Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ:TPIE) announced today that effective January 31, 1995, Stephen R. Cohen is retiring as Chairman of TPI Enterprises Inc. and as a member of the Board of Directors.
Cohen will remain Chairman of Maxcell Telecom Plus, Inc., TPI's wholly owned subsidiary.
Cohen, 52, stated, "after twenty years with TPI, I am looking forward to pursuing different business interests." He added that he was very proud of the numerous accomplishments of TPI under his tenure. Cohen further stated that "he will continue as Chairman of Maxcell until the completion of current pending litigation, Maxcell Telecom Plus, Inc. and TPI Enterprises, Inc. v. McCaw Cellular Communications, Inc., et.al."
