MKS announces MKS Toolkit for Windows NT 3.5
Business Wire, Jan 6, 1995
WATERLOO, Ont.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MKS today announced the release of MKS Toolkit for Windows NT 3.5. MKS Toolkit delivers powerful development utilities for DOS, OS/2, and Windows NT, including tools for command editing and history, file processing and comparison, and text manipulation and sorting. The Windows NT 3.5 release of MKS Toolkit is accompanied by a hypertext reference manual, and is available for Intel, Alpha AXP and MIPS.
"As the number of application ports and development projects performed on NT continues to grow, so does the demand for MKS Toolkit. Many software developers are migrating their MKS Toolkit licenses to NT, as they have found that Windows NT 3.5 does not offer a powerful set of native programming tools." said Paul Steinbach, product manager, MKS Toolkit. "In future, MKS is moving to provide support for Microsoft and Win32 operating systems upon their final release. We are committed to addressing the needs of developers who require extra horsepower in these new computing environments."
The release of MKS Toolkit 4.3 for Windows NT 3.5 is shipping at a suggested retail price of $399. An upgrade version of MKS Toolkit from Windows NT 3.1 is shipping at a suggested retail price of $59.
